01Sound familiar

The problem, before it has a name

Most people arrive describing symptoms rather than a project. These are the ones that lead here.

  • 01Your site is a WordPress theme held together by fourteen plugins
  • 02Editing a headline requires calling someone
  • 03The site is slow on a phone and nobody can say why
  • 04You are renting your own web presence from an agency month to month
02Approach

How I think about it

A website should be an asset on your balance sheet, not a subscription you cannot cancel. The common alternative — a theme, fourteen plugins and an agency retainer to change a headline — is a rental arrangement where you supply the content and someone else holds the keys.

What gets built here is custom, fast and crawlable, with content management your own staff can operate. Pages are prerendered, so a search engine sees real content rather than an empty container waiting for JavaScript. Accessibility and load performance are treated as requirements rather than as a phase that gets cut when the timeline tightens.

And you own the result outright — the code, the data, the domain and the hosting accounts. If this arrangement ends, the site keeps running.

Four separate tools consolidated into one owned operating systemBefore: WordPress held the site, Smartsheet held jobs and scheduling, DocuSign held signatures and Google Docs held quotes. The same customer detail was re-entered by hand in each one, and no tool could answer a question that spanned two of them. After: a single system owned outright carries content, scheduling, documents and invoicing against one customer record, so a detail is entered once and every part of the business reads the same answer.BEFOREFour systems. What your Monday looks like

Deliverables describe what I hand over. This is what changes for you. You can make any relevant change you want to, easily, yourself.

  • You change a price yourself, in a minute, without emailing anybody.
  • A facilities manager finds your insurance and licensing without asking for it.
  • The site opens on a phone at a job site with two bars of signal.
  • If we stop working together, all of it keeps running. You own it.

For exterior cleaning companies

This one is already built

Pressure washing, roofs, gutters, windows, lights — the operating system, the website and the search structure already run an exterior cleaning company, so for that trade this is installed rather than invented. Fixed price, fixed scope, delivered in the first quarter.

03Process

How the work runs

  1. 01

    Define

What the site must do, who it must convince, and how success gets measured.

  2. 02

    Design

A system rather than a set of pages, so it stays coherent as it grows.

  3. 03

    Build

Custom code, prerendered output, accessibility and performance as acceptance criteria.

  4. 04

    Transfer

Accounts, credentials and documentation handed to you. All of them.

04Deliverables

What you receive

  • 01Custom design and build — no template, no page-builder lock-in
  • 02Content management your staff can operate without a manual
  • 03Prerendered, crawlable pages so search engines see real content
  • 04Accessibility and Core Web Vitals treated as requirements, not extras
  • 05You own the code, the domain, the data and the hosting account
05Who this is for

Contractors first. Commercial and government too.

The build overlaps; the evidence each buyer needs to approve it does not.

Contractors & exterior cleaners

  • Quoting that does not wait on someone being at a laptop
  • Scheduling that offers the customer dates the crew is already driving past
  • One system holding the job, the documents and the money

Commercial

  • Integration across tools already under contract
  • Role-based access and a defensible audit trail
  • A rollout plan that survives a staffing change

Government

  • Documented decisions and traceable requirements
  • Procurement-legible scope, deliverables and acceptance criteria
  • Data residency and records-retention answered up front, in writing
07Questions

Web Design & Development, answered

Can you work with our existing WordPress site?

Yes, and sometimes that is the right call — if the theme is sound and the problem is content or speed, rebuilding is a waste of your money. The rebuild recommendation comes when plugin sprawl has made the site unmaintainable, which is a diagnosis you get with reasons attached.

Who owns the code?

You do, without qualification. Repository, domain, hosting, database. There is no arrangement here where ending the relationship costs you your website.

Do you do ongoing maintenance?

Available but never required, and never a condition of the build. A site that only works while someone is being paid to keep it working was not finished.

How is this priced?

Plans for marketing, ads and business operating systems are built on best practices in the field, and they are priced against deliverables rather than by the hour. A short ad-spend campaign can be $500. A marketing and operating system install starts at $25,000, with financing available.
